Legendary makeup artist Dick Smith passed away on July 30, 2014 at
age 92. Smith is known for his special effects makeup work on films
including The Exorcist,The Godfather and Amadeus.
Dick was often referred to as "The Godfather of Make-up" and worked as
NBC's first makeup director. He received an Academy Award for Makeup for
his work on the movie Amadeus.
