5 Smart Summer Beauty Revelations

Eric Devezin on a few small changes that can make a huge difference:

I love Summer time for one simple reason: It's a reminder to get ready for the fall. The
perfect time to recharge, renew, and have fun. It's also a time when
many of us make promises to enjoy ourselves. So if you're going to make changes for the fall, choose now to make sure you really
deliver—and that you'll be happy with yourself at the end of the year. Here are a few fast, easy beauty tips
and changes to make now for benefits that last all year.

1. Take time to meditate. A few minutes of
uninterrupted time can do wonders for your mental health. Studies
have shown the connection between stress and acne as
well as stress and tea. Since it's caffeine-free, you don't have to
worry about getting dehydrated. Chamomile is my
favorite, and its equally good hot or cold.

2. Get your eyebrows professionally shaped.
Eyebrows are much more important than you may think. The simple step of
shaping your eyebrows will make a huge difference in the way you look,
even if it is the only thing you do. Find an eyebrow guru—get a
recommendation from a friend or professional makeup artist—and have them
professionally shape your eyebrows. Then they'll be easy to maintain on
your own, with some simple tweezing, after having them done just once.

3. Hide it. A good concealer makes
the most immediate and dramatic difference in how you look. It lightens
dark circles, brightens your face, and makes you look well rested. Look
for a creamy formula that's yellow based and one shade lighter than
your skin tone.  Dab on using your fingertips or a concealer brush and apply a
generous amount of concealer under the eyes, up to the lash lines and at
the innermost corner of the eyes. Gently pat with your fingertips to
smooth, then seal it with loose powder applied with a powder puff.

4. Bronze have more fun. Summer is right around the corner, so it’s time to pull out those
bronzers!  The trick to applying bronzer is to pick the best shade and
apply sparingly- too much and you’ll look dirty, and the wrong shade
will make you look  too tan…Use either a contour brush or a rounded face brush to apply just under the cheek bones, then blend upwards onto the cheeks. You can also apply bronzer along the temple and top of your forehead to give a sun kissed glow. Pick your correct shade- you want something that is just 2-3 shades darker than your skin. Bronzer
goes on after face makeup (foundation, concealer, and powder) but
before blush.

5.  Exercise is so important for your mind, mood, and body. Exercise has many benefits. It reduces depression and instantly lifts mood due to the production of endorphins, the feel-good hormones. No
matter how down you are feeling before you exercise, you will definitely feel a lot more upbeat by the end of your session.Try to find activities that you are good at and enjoy. If you have fun while you are working out, you will want to keep going.
